Confidence is a word that is used often. It is over used as the answer to almost every self help question. But it is much more complicated than that. There is a big difference between true confidence and arrogance. However to the outsider it is hidden until tested.
In order to be confident, you really need to believe in yourself. And that can only be achieved by action. What ever it is you are doing, positive or negative , affects your attitude. As do all your accomplishments contribute to your well being, no matter how small. It all depends on your point of view. As long as you keep progressing , it will build your self esteem, and creating a more confident mindset than before. But the key is consistency.
One salad does not make you a vegetarian. But continued good habits will grow into stronger will power. That carries on to other aspects, once you start believing in yourself. And as you follow your new ( or renewed ) path, you see for yourself what you are capable of doing.
No matter what aspect of your life you have chosen to improve, the Way is within your grasp. The hardest thing is to honestly observe what you have done to get there and what you need to do to achieve further success. And that success is what contributes to your confidence. Not walking around with your chin up and shoulders blocking the street. (You should be doing that anyway !!!!). But inner strength is what builds character, not outward appearance.
I am a firm believer in body language, but as a reflection of yourself, not the sole essence. You may fool a few people, but unless you truly believe that is part of who you really are, the person you are lying to is yourself. And as soon as you are tested or challenged, the hardest fall isn’t in the eyes of others but to yourself. So be the best version of yourself because it is all you have, but never give up on dreams, and keep seeking improvement. We are a work in progress and are capable of much more than we give ourselves credit.
